CHANGE OF UPLOAD SCHEDULE FOR PROGRAM ACCREDITATION DOCUMENTS

(Important Revision of LAMSAMA ANNOUNCEMENT No. 05/LAMSAMA/X/2024)

Following up on the changes in Accreditation Process and Automation policies applicable to all accreditation bodies in Indonesia, including LAMSAMA, the following is hereby communicated, based on:

1. Law No. 12 of 2012 on Higher Education, Accreditation of Study Programs (APS) is carried out by the Independent Accreditation Institute (LAM);
2. Regulation of the National Accreditation Body for Higher Education (BAN-PT) No. 16 of 2023 on the Implementation of Automation Mechanisms in Study Program Accreditation; and
3. Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 53 of 2023 on Higher Education Quality Assurance, which will be effective in August 2025, with a transition period from August 16, 2023, to August 2025.
4. Executive Board Meeting of LAMSAMA on February 17, 2025.

In line with the implementation of Permendikbudristek No. 53 of 2023, LAMSAMA has established the following provisions:

1. The acceptance of Accreditation Proposal Documents and their complete requirements with the old instrument (IAPS 1.0) will be accepted until February 28, 2025, March 21, 2025;
2. Starting from March 22, 2025, LAMSAMA will no longer accept new accreditation applications, and IAPS 1.0 will be deemed invalid;
3. The LAMSAMA accreditation system based on IAPS 3.0 will be implemented starting July 1, 2025;
4. For Study Programs with an accreditation status expiring between January 1 and December 31, 2026, it is advised to complete the process as outlined in point 1.
