Depok, LAMSAMA – Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Sains Alam dan Ilmu Formal (LAMSAMA) successfully conducted its On-site Sufficiency Assessment (AK) activities simultaneously on April 26-27, 2024, in Tangerang. This event is a continuation of the limited recruitment of assessors carried out earlier this year.
During this event, the Executive Director (DE) of LAMSAMA, along with 17 Assessor 1s and 30 Assessor 2s, conducted AK on 31 registered study programs. The main objective of this activity is to ensure that the accreditation process can proceed to the Field Assessment (AL) stage after undergoing a rigorous validation process.
The combination of senior and junior assessors was one of the keys to the success of this event, where senior assessors could share their experiences and knowledge with the younger generation. The process was conducted offline to follow up on the necessary improvements after the previous mock-up preparation.
The event began with the Evaluation of the Sufficiency Assessment Rating Table (TPAK) by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Drs. Ir. Mitra Djamal, IPU., ASEAN Eng., and Dr. Dra. Melania Suweni Muntini, M.T.

“This activity is expected to be a momentum for adjustment for new assessors, as well as to improve the quality of study programs in the future,” said Prof. Mitra Djamal, Executive Director of LAMSAMA.
At the end of the offline AK session, the Deputy Director of Accreditation at LAMSAMA emphasized the importance of assessors adhering to the code of ethics as LAMSAMA assessors.
Assessor evaluations play a crucial role in the AK and AL processes because accreditation is a significant factor in Indonesia. It is hoped that this activity will make a significant contribution to improving the quality of study programs in various universities in the country.
