Depok, LAMSAMA – The Directorate General of Vocational Education, through the Directorate of Institutional and Human Resources for Vocational Higher Education, is providing concrete support to private vocational institutions across Indonesia. In 2024, financial aid is being granted to private vocational institutions to assist with accreditation fees. This initiative aims to help improve the quality of vocational education in the country.

It is important to note that 2024 marks the final year for study programs to submit documents under the old accreditation framework. With this financial aid, Study Program Management Units (UPPS) are expected to submit accreditation documents for evaluation under the old framework by December 31, 2024. Starting January 2025, submissions will follow a new accreditation framework currently being developed, in accordance with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 53 of 2023 on Higher Education Quality Assurance.
This financial aid is expected to motivate private vocational institutions to enhance their study program accreditation, ultimately leading to improved graduate quality, better equipped to compete in the workforce.
