Depok, January 25, 2024 – LAMSAMA has officially become a full member of The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), a prestigious international accreditation association, as of January 23, 2024. This membership marks a significant milestone in LAMSAMA’s commitment to upholding international standards in higher education quality assurance.
To achieve this membership, LAMSAMA was required to submit various documents, including its founding charter, operational license by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Menristekdikti), and its accreditation criteria and standard operational procedures. INQAAHE, an association comprising over 300 quality assurance organizations worldwide, is active in the theory and practice of quality assurance in higher education. Many international accreditation agencies operating in Indonesia are part of this esteemed association. Its members are mostly quality assurance agencies that utilize diverse methods and standards across numerous countries. The association also welcomes other organizations interested in higher education quality assurance.
INQAAHE membership signifies that LAMSAMA’s accreditation standards and criteria are internationally recognized and accepted. This affiliation not only enhances LAMSAMA’s reputation but also provides access to a wealth of resources including information sharing on evaluation criteria and standards, funding, cooperation opportunities, and contributions to the development of academic fields through quality assurance.
