Further to the letter from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ref. No. 2761\/DST\/B3\/DT.03.08\/2026 concerning the Request for Temporary Accreditation Extension, the Independent Accreditation Agency for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA) hereby announces the following provisions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For study programs previously accredited with the ratings Good (Baik)<\/strong> or Very Good (Baik Sekali)<\/strong> and whose accreditation validity expires on or before 30 September 2026, the following provisions shall apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n a. LAMSAMA will grant a temporary extension of the accreditation validity period until 30 September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n b. Study programs receiving the temporary extension referred to in point (a) are required to submit an accreditation application using the Study Program Accreditation Instrument (IAPS) 3.1<\/strong> through the SALAM 3.1<\/strong> system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n c. Accreditation applications through SALAM 3.1 may be submitted starting from 2 June 2026. All accreditation documents must be finalized no later than 30 September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n d. Study programs that have completed the finalization of their accreditation documents through SALAM 3.1 by 30 September 2026, but whose accreditation review process has not yet been completed, will be granted an extension of accreditation validity until the accreditation process has been concluded by LAMSAMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n e. Study programs intending to apply must complete the required application form no later than 30 September 2026 through the following link: Accredited Status Application Form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For study programs applying for Initial Accredited Status<\/strong>, the following provisions shall apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n a. Applications for accreditation using IAPS 3.1 may be submitted through SALAM 3.1 beginning on 2 June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n b. The deadline for finalizing accreditation documents through SALAM 3.1 is 30 September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n c. Applications submitted through SALAM 3.1 will serve as the basis for issuing an official certification letter for study programs seeking Initial Accredited Status, pending further regulatory clarification from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For study programs seeking an upgrade to Excellent Accredited Status (Terakreditasi Unggul)<\/strong>, or those already holding Excellent status whose accreditation validity expires on or before 30 September 2026, the following provisions shall apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n a. LAMSAMA will grant a temporary extension of the accreditation validity period until 30 September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n b. Study programs receiving the temporary extension referred to in point (a) are required to submit an accreditation application using IAPS 3.1 through the SALAM 3.1 system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n c. Accreditation applications through SALAM 3.1 may be submitted starting from 2 June 2026, with all accreditation documents required to be finalized no later than 30 September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n d. Study programs that have finalized their accreditation documents through SALAM 3.1 by 30 September 2026, but whose accreditation review process has not yet been completed, will be granted an extension of accreditation validity until the accreditation decision has been formally issued by LAMSAMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n e. Additional technical requirements and procedures related to applications for Excellent Accredited Status will be announced in due course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This announcement is issued for your information and attention.
