Over the two-year evaluation period, LAMSAMA issued 357 accreditations for Diploma, Applied Bachelor, Bachelor, Master\u2019s, and Doctoral programs across 89 regencies\/cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Data shows that Bachelor\u2019s programs dominated the number of accreditations with a total of 232 programs, followed by Master\u2019s programs with 83, Doctoral programs with 27, Diploma programs with 9, and Applied Bachelor programs with 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"749\" src=\"https:\/\/lamsama.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-2-1024x749.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1999\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lamsama.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-2-1024x749.png 1024w, https:\/\/lamsama.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-2-300x219.png 300w, https:\/\/lamsama.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-2-768x562.png 768w, https:\/\/lamsama.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-2.png 1065w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Total Accreditation Rating<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of all accredited programs, 189 received an \u201cExcellent\u201d rating, 93 were rated \u201cVery Good,\u201d and 73 obtained a \u201cGood\u201d rating. Drs. Ir. Mitra Djamal, IPU., ASEAN Eng., stated that these achievements reflect universities\u2019 commitment to improving academic standards. \u201cThe accreditation trends over the past two years show significant progress, especially in universities\u2019 consistency in maintaining quality,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the scientific field level, Biology programs recorded the highest proportion of \u201cExcellent\u201d ratings, contributing 25 percent of the total in that category. Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, as well as Statistics and Actuarial Science also demonstrated strong performance, while other fields contributed 11 percent. Overall, this trend indicates that the fundamental sciences remain the main pillars of quality improvement in the fields assessed by LAMSAMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"959\" height=\"706\" src=\"https:\/\/lamsama.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1995\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lamsama.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image.png 959w, https:\/\/lamsama.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-300x221.png 300w, https:\/\/lamsama.or.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-768x565.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 959px) 100vw, 959px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Percentage of Fields with \u201cExcellent\u201d Ratings<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analysis of 332 study programs assessed using nine accreditation criteria also revealed interesting patterns across education levels. Diploma III programs scored highest in the Student category but were weaker in research. Diploma IV excelled in Community Service. Bachelor programs faced challenges in outputs and tridharma achievements, while Master\u2019s programs demonstrated strong performance in Education. Meanwhile, universities under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology showed strengths in research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LAMSAMA Deputy Director of Accreditation, Prof. Drs. Roto, M.Eng., Ph.D., emphasized that gaps in tridharma achievements remain a common challenge. \u201cThese findings provide direction for future improvement. All parties must consistently strengthen tridharma performance,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the evaluation, LAMSAMA delivered several key recommendations to strengthen study program quality. In the vision and mission aspect, universities are encouraged to update the scientific direction of their study programs and ensure goal achievement through measurable indicators. In terms of governance, consistent implementation of the PPEPP cycle and alignment of strategic planning documents at the university, faculty, and study program levels are crucial points of attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the aspect of human resources, LAMSAMA highlighted the need to increase the number of lecturers, strengthen staff competencies, and accelerate academic career progression.
